Ugly First Day (Friday) Box Office collection report – Pk’s Effect

Anurag Kashyap’s movie Ugly finally at box office and its released today (26/12/2014) and people were excited to watch the movie Ugly which was delayed due to the anti-smoking advertisement case in court and its been finally arrived at the box office. Even the movie total budget was lower the film is story about the child trafficking and prostitution.

Story is really the interesting but the film does not stands well as the Cannes Film Festival released in may 24th 2013. Anurag kashyap failed to attract the audience because the other film like PK and Lingaa.

Anurag fails to attract the Audience –

Film director Anurag Kashyap who already gave much more promising films in the past and right now Ugly 2014 with popular production company DAR Motion Pictures and Phantom Films failed to attract the audience at box office   even its having the good storyline and cast-crew support.

I think its the effect of other box office current hit films like PK and Lingaa which are Making huge business and one more thing is the less promotion of the film. Pk is the movie which get closer to the 100 crores club in first 3 days so its the ugly effect of Pk on Ugly movie.

Ugly Movie First Day Box Office Collection –

on the Opening day Ugly did not reached the 1 crore in first day (1st) of release on Friday. As per the early estimation on earnings before the end of the day the movie still reached the 50-60 lacs in approximation even its been released on 1000 screens all over.
