Sonam Kapoor Turned Producer for Battle for Bittora film

Battle for Bittora is the Indian Social and Comedy film directed by Shashanka Ghosh. Sonam Kapoor and her sister Rhea Kapoor jointly producing the film under the Banner of Anil Kapoor Films Company. So its gonna be the Home Production film as Anil Kapoor and his daughters all set to give the production support.

Movie is inspired from the Anuja Chauhan’s novel Battle for Bittora. Novel highlights the real business of politics through a light-hearted lens of romance and more focuses on process of elections in India and people who are associated with it. Its been noted that the Sonam Kapoor playing the lead role with Sidharth Malhotra.

“I was a producer in Aisha (produced by dad Anil, sis Rhea and Sunil Manchanda), but a silent one. It was Rhea who convinced me to turn a proper producer now and have my name in the credit titles. She feels it’s high time. I will be involved in every department of production — from finances to research to costumes and casting. I will be producing Battle For Bittora along with another film.”, Sonam Said

She remained actress in sister Rhea Kapoor and father Anil Kapoor’s production film Aisha but this time she Turned proper Producer in whole professional manner. She also stated that she had one more project for production but didn’t reveled anything about it.

Sonam Kapoor will be seen as a actor and Producer for the film. Currently actress wrapped up the shooting of the Prem Ratan Dhan Payo movie and she also has the real life story inspired lined up project Neerja Bhanot but its expected that Battel For Bittora will go on floor very soon.
