Manoj Bajpai’s Aligarh scheduled to release on 26th February
Hansal Mehta’s Aligarh is Hindi film based on real life story of Dr. Shrinivas Ramchandra Siras who was suspended from his job because of his sexual orientation. Siras was the professor of Marathi at the Aligarh Muslim University. After successfully appealing his suspension, he died in suspicious circumstances. Rajkummar Rao and Manoj Bajpai are lead actors for film. Movie scheduled to release on 26th of February 2016.
Manoj Bajpai played lead role as Shrinivas Ramchandra Siras and Rajkummar Rao as Journalist. Movie has been shot in Uttar Pradesh. It was World Premiere at 20th Busan International film festival in South Korea on 4th October 2015 and film received standing ovation. Later it had Europe premiere at the 59th BFI London Film Festival on 10 October 2015 and India premiere in Mumbai at the 17th JioMAMI Mumbai Film Festival on 30th October 2015.
