Airlift Movie is presented by Gulshan Kumar and Hari Om Bhatia. One man Ranjit took risk with his entire family to save the total of 111,711 people. After lots of struggle he manged to evacuated them to Mumbai – a distance of 4,117 km, by operating 488 flights in association with Indian Airlines, from 13 August to 11 October 1990 – lasting 59 days. There were several difficulties in entire journey. Akshay Kumar portrayed Indian businesses man Ranjit Katyal who with the help of the Indian government, safely evacuated several Indians during the crisis. Makers considered everything related to the true story and generated high end Thriller film.
