Mumbai Saga: John Abraham, Emraan Hashmi in Sanjay Gupta’s Next Big film
John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi paired up for upcoming film in Mumbai Saga. A film is a gangster drama set in the 1980s and 1990s. The film Costars Jackie Shroff, Suniel Shetty, Prateik Babbar, Gulshan Grover, Rohit Roy and Amole Gupte. A film is Directed by Sanjay Gupta.
Mumbai Saga goes on floors next month which is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar and Anuradha Gupta. Sanjay Gupta completes 25 years in the industry. After giving big hit films like Kaante, Musafir, Zinda, Jazbaa and Kaabil director Sanjay Gupta is back with yet another interesting film Mumbai Saga.
“’25 years, 17 films later I had to give my audience something bigger and better. ‘Mumbai Saga’ is by far my most ambitious film which needed a visionary producer. And I am grateful to Bhushan Kumar for putting his faith and might in it. It is one such story that needs to be said on screen,” Gupta said in a statement.
Sanjay Gupta twitted about the film announcement wrote, “The Legend of Bombay, The Saga of Mumbai! Presenting the Gangstas of #MumbaiSaga The story of how Bombay transformed into Mumbai Presenting the Gangstas of #MumbaiSaga”
The film is inspired by true events yet makes the characters so larger than life. The film is about transforming Bombay into Mumbai. A film Mumbai Saga is scheduled to release on 2020.
