OMG! Marathi Film Maker Atul B. Tapkir Died: Committed Suicide

A Marathi filmmaker, Atul B. Tapkir committed suicide in a hotel in Pune, Maharashtra. Before bidding his final goodbye to the world he wrote a Facebook post, yesterday night around 12. In his post, he clearly mentioned that he has decided to end his life.

He Found Dead at Luxury Hotel on Sunday Morning. Atul was 35 Years Old. A post on Tapkir’s Facebook page indicates he was disturbed over financial losses in filmmaking and a troubled family life.

One of the last ‘suicidal’ messages posted on Tapkir’s Facebook page on Saturday suggests he was depressed over the financial losses he suffered by producing Marathi film “Dhol Taashe”.
