Kareena kappor stated in the Twitter that “Udta Punjab revolves around drug busting, which is a big menace in Punjab. I play a pivotal role in the film”. So movie is about the drug abuse in the state. Punjab is state, well known for hockey players and Alia picked up the hockey which unveil the role of her.
