Kangana Ranaut is playing Praful Patel in her upcoming film Simran directed by Hansal Mehta. National award winning Director Hansal Mehta who gave us touchy films like City Lights, Aligarh is now one more time in talks for his upcoming film with Bollywood Queen Kangana Ranaut.

It’s been Earlier revealed that Kangana Playing Simran but now the Latest buzz is that Kangana Playing Praful Patel in Simran. A Film is allegedly inspired by the life of an NRI nurse in the US, Sandeep Kaur. She was sent to prison last year for robbing banks to pay off her gambling debts.

The Story of the film revolves around the girl, her ambitions and how she gets addicted to the world of crime. The Movie is Produced by Bhushan Kumar and Shailesh Singh. Simran is scripted by Apurva Asrani. The film will start shooting in August in the US.
